Supreme Prize 2010

Prize winners to note the following
  1. The decision of the judges is final, and once winners are announced, no further correspondence will be entered into.
  2. Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of the event, unless specified otherwise.
  3. Prizes are not transferable for cash, or other prize
Supreme Award – Harvey World Travel, Singapore Airlines & Holland America Line
  1. Singapore Airlines will provide, for travel departing during the period May 2011, 2 x Economy Class tickets to Europe. This will be available for departures from Auckland or Christchurch.
  2. The issuance of tickets is subject to seat availability.
  3. Harvey World Travel Rotorua will undertake to pay all airport taxes, and other surcharges where applicable.
  4. Excess baggage waiver will not be granted. 
  5. Economy Class tickets are not upgradeable to Business Class unless the prizewinner elects to do so, in which case they will pay an upgrade surcharge for each sector they wish to upgrade.
  6. The tickets will only be issued if all sectors are confirmed.
  7. The winner will undertake to pay for any transportation costs to Auckland or Christchurch.
  8. At least one traveler must be 21 years or over.
  9. Once the tickets are issued, requests for changes of passengers’ names and travelling sectors made two working days or less before the date of travel will be subjected to Singapore Airline’s approval and upon approval, a cancellation charge of S$75.00 per change will be levied.
  10. No portion of travel not utilised may be carried forward beyond the validity dates contained on the ticket without the specific, written approval of Singapore Airlines.  Notwithstanding any validity date on the ticket, all travel on tickets issued free of charge must be utilised in full by October 2011.
  11. Travel will only be available on Singapore Airlines’ operated services.
  12. Travellers are expected to observe the following conditions as part of the utilisation of travel:
    1. Be neatly and appropriately attired when travelling;
    2. Not carry, on their person, in their luggage or carry-on baggage, any contraband or goods which are prohibited by the laws of Singapore or the country of their final destination, or goods which are unsuitable for carriage on a commercial aircraft;
    3. Observe all directions of SIA’s ground staff and air crew at all times;
    4. Comply with the requirements of immigration and customs authorities in each country;
    5. Comply with the laws of the jurisdiction they are visiting.
  13. Charges for excess baggage shall apply where a passenger seeks to carry more than their entitlement of luggage.  In such cases, Singapore Airlines is not liable for the charges.
  14. Tickets will be valid for the period specified on the ticket. Unused travel at the expiry of the validity period cannot be refunded or re-utilised. Once a journey commences (ie the point at which the first flight coupon is redeemed for travel), the utilisation of the commitment for free tickets is deemed against the provision stated above.
  15. Travel and Cruise is not convertible to cash.
  16. Singapore Airlines reserves its right to impose particular flight embargoes during periods of heavy demand as is required commercially from time to time.
  17. At all times, it will be the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that his/her passport is in order and that he/she has the necessary visa clearances to enter the country of destination.
  18. Tickets are not transferable and must be issued only in the correct name of the person travelling. 
  19. Frequent Flyer mileage cannot be accrued on any of the free or concession travel.
  20. Any additional accommodation or sightseeing over and above the given prize is at the expense of the winner.  Spending money is at the expense of the winner.
  21. The cruise date of 21 May 2011, is not transferrable.
  22. Items of a personal nature that are purchased on board the cruise are not included.
  23. Gratuities of US$11 pp per day are not included and must be covered by the prize winner.
  24. Accommodation on board will be assigned by Holland America Lines discretion.
  25. Upgrade to a higher category is possible but must be payable in advance by the prize winner.
  26. Prize winners are bound by the Holland America Line Passenger contract which is available at www.hollandamerica.com.
  27. Travel insurance is mandatory and proof of purchase must be given to Harvey World Travel Rotorua.
